Julian has recently joined forces with Emma Morris, director of leading entertainment production company ‘So Productions’ (www.soproductions.co.uk), to form a classic piano and vocal duo ‘So Songbook’.

Emma Morris has had a varied career both in the theatre and cabaret circuits. She has worked professionally in West End Theatre, on the P&O cruise liner Oriana ,and sang on numerous radio and television broadcasts. Emma's cabaret act has been featured at such prestigious venues as The London Hippodrome, Café Royal and Centre Stage in Covent Garden.

With a repertoire specialising in the timeless classics by Gershwin, Cole Porter, Kern, and Rogers & Hart the obvious choice of name for this classy duo was So Songbook - a nod towards the great composers of The American Songbook. Hits like ‘Summertime’, ‘I’ve Got You Under My Skin’ and ‘My Funny Valentine’ are covered in true professional style.

Julian and Emma broaden the Songbook theme to include a range of material spanning 9 decades, with songs lending themselves perfectly to the sophistication of a pianist and singer – Burt Bacharach, the Carpenters, Oleta Adams and Nora Jones, to name but a few.
